About Mystic Springs Renewable Energy
Mystic Springs is a proposed 250-megawatt utility-size solar and 250-megawatt / 500 megawatt-hours utility-scale battery storage facility developed by Vesper Energy. The project will consist of solar panels and battery storage installed in Kaufman and Hunt Counties. Commercial operation is anticipated to begin in March 2028.
Mystic Springs is expected to operate for up to 40 years. During that time, the project will create good-paying construction jobs, support full-time skilled operations and positions, provide long-term income for participating landowners, and generate new tax revenue for Kaufman and Hunt County schools, hospitals, roads, and local government operations.
